  • Evidence for transit-timing variations of the 11 Myr exoplanet TOI-1227 b

TOI-1227 b is an 11 Myr old validated transiting planet in the middle of its contraction phase, with a current radius of 0.85 R j. It orbits a low-mass pre-main sequence star (0.170 M ⊙, 0.56 R ⊙) every 27.4 days. The magnetic activity of its young host star induces radial velocity jitter and prevents good measurements of the planetary mass. We

  • NGDEEP Epoch 1: Spatially Resolved Hα Observations of Disk and Bulge Growth in Star-forming Galaxies at z ∼ 0.6–2.2 from JWST NIRISS Slitless Spectroscopy

We study the Hα equivalent width (EW(Hα)) maps of 19 galaxies at 0.6 < z < 2.2 in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field using NIRISS slitless spectroscopy as part of the Next Generation Deep Extragalactic Exploratory Public Survey. Our galaxies mostly lie on the star formation main sequence with stellar masses between 10 9 and 10 11 M ⊙, characterized as

  • Predicted asteroseismic detection yield for solar-like oscillating stars with PLATO

Aims: In this work, we determine the expected yield of detections of solar-like oscillations for the targets of the foreseen PLATO ESA mission. Our estimates are based on a study of the detection probability, which takes into account the properties of the target stars, using the information available in the PIC 1.1.0, including the current best

  • The Plasma β in Quiet Sun Regions: Multi-instrument View

A joint campaign of several spaceborne and ground-based observatories, such as the GREGOR solar telescope, the Extreme-ultraviolet Imaging Spectrometer (EIS), and the Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (Hinode Observing Plan 381, 2019 October 11–22) was conducted to investigate the plasma β in quiet Sun regions. In this work, we focus on 2019
