Infrared flux excesses from hot subdwarfs. II. 72 more objectsIn our search, started in February, 1994, for JHK excess fluxes among the hot subdwarf population as an indicator for the presence of binary companions, results for 72 more hot objects (=63 hot subdwarfs + 1 Horizontal Branch B star + 7 white dwarfs + 1 non-subdwarf object) observed with the Carlos Sanchez CVF IR photometer (in June and OctoberUlla, A. et al.

Infrared High-resolution Integrated Light Spectral Analyses of M31 Globular Clusters from APOGEEChemical abundances are presented for 25 M31 globular clusters (GCs), based on moderately high resolution (R = 22,500) H-band integrated light (IL) spectra from the Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment (APOGEE). Infrared (IR) spectra offer lines from new elements, lines of different strengths, and lines at higher excitationSakari, C. M. et al.

Infrared Properties of Star-forming Dwarf Galaxies. I. Dwarf Irregular Galaxies in the Local VolumeA sample of 34 dwarf irregular galaxies (dIs) in the Local Volume, most nearer than 5 Mpc, has been imaged in the near-infrared (NIR) in J and Ks at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) in Hawaii and the Observatorio Astronómico Nacional in the Sierra San Pedro Mártir, in Mexico. Absolute magnitudes in Ks range from -14 to -18. In the CFHTVaduvescu, Ovidiu et al.

Infrared radial velocities of vB 10We present radial velocities of the M8V-type, very low-mass star vB 10 obtained at four different epochs between 2001 and 2008. We use high-resolution (R ~ 20 000) near-infrared (J-band) spectra taken with the nirspec instrument on the Keck II telescope. Our data suggest that vB 10 shows radial velocity variability with an amplitude of ~1 km s-1, aZapatero Osorio, M. R. et al.

Infrared sources in the compact H II region G45.5 plus 0.1Infrared photometric observations (1.25-10 microns) of the compact H II region G45.5 plus 0.1 are reported. Three new sources, which appear pointlike in nature, are discussed; two of them are possibly identifed with faint stars on the Palomar Sky Survey red plate. Evidence is given which indicates that they lie behind cool dust clouds with anSánchez-Magro, C. et al.
