Descripción
We report on the preparation of a catalog of faint polarizedstandards for near infrared bands. The catalog will onlycontain faint targets (below J ≃ 14) which should be areference list for observations in 10 m class telescopes. Weexpect to have a list with more than 50 targets contained inseveral fields distributed in a wide right ascension range.The data are being collected using the polarization mode of LIRISinstrument (mounted at the Cassegrain focus of the WHTtelescope). Here we show some examples of the use of LIRISpolarimetry and a first sample of the catalog.
