Descripción
The MAGIC Observatory is one of the main instruments in the northern hemisphere for mea-suring gamma rays from celestial objects in the very high energy regime. It consists of two 17m diameter IACTs (Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes) with a baseline of 85m sited at 2200 m.a.s.l. on Roque de los Muchachos (European Northern Observatory, La Palma, Canary Islands). It has the lowest energy threshold of current instruments, several tens of GeV, and high sensitivity ideal for studying fast variability. We present some recent results of AGN ob-servations performed with the MAGIC telescopes. We will discuss e.g. observations of M87 radiogalaxy, and the detection of PKS 1424+240 and S5 0716+714. We will also emphasize the multiwavelength AGN observations performed together with Fermi.
