  • The Disappearing Act of KH 15D: Photometric Results from the 2002-2004 Observing Campaigns
We present the results from the 2002-2004 seasons of photometric monitoring of the eclipsing system KH 15D. The eclipse has continued to evolve in secular fashion, and the eclipses are now approximately 24 days in length, or half the period. A periodogram of the most recent data confirms the spectroscopic period of 48.38 days determined by Johnson

  • The Disc-Halo Structure of NGC 3109
We present the results of V and I photometries for ~56,500 stars of NGC 3109 obtained from a 467.26(')2 wide-field observations. The internal extinction does not affect the determination of the magnitude of the tip of the red giant branch (TRGB) from which a distance modulus of (m - M)0 = 25.61 ± 0.10 (1.32 ± 0.06 Mpc) have been derived. • The disc-jet coupling in the neutron star X-ray binary Aquila X-1
We study the accretion/ejection processes (i.e. disc/jet coupling) in the neutron star X-ray binary Aquila X-1 via a multiwavelength approach. We use in the radio band the publicly available Very Large Array archive containing observations of the object between 1986 and 2005, in the X-ray band the archival Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer data

  • The Discovery and Mass Measurement of a New Ultra-short-period Planet: EPIC 228732031b
We report the discovery of a new ultra-short-period planet and summarize the properties of all such planets for which the mass and radius have been measured. The new planet, EPIC 228732031b, was discovered in K2 Campaign 10. It has a radius of {1.81}-0.12+0.16 {R}\oplus and orbits a G dwarf with a period of 8.9 hr. Radial velocities obtained with
