The X-ray transient XTE J1719-291 was discovered with Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer/Proportional Counter Array (RXTE/PCA) during its outburst in 2008 March, which lasted at least 46 d. Its 2-10 keV peak luminosity is 7 × 1035 erg s-1 assuming a distance of 8 kpc, which classifies the system as a very faint X-ray transient. The outburst was monitored

XMM-Newton and ESO observations of the two unidentified γ-ray sources 3EG J0616-3310 and 3EG J1249-8330
The limited angular resolution of γ-ray telescopes prevents a direct identification of the majority of sources detected so far. This is particularly true for the low latitude, probably galactic, ones only 10% of which has been identified. Most counterparts of the identified low-latitude γ-ray sources are Isolated Neutron Stars (INS), both radio

XMM-Newton Proposal 03015401
We propose to observe the peculiar neutron star low mass X-ray binary (NS/LMXB) 2S 1803-245 in quiescence. Together with EXO 1745-248, it is the only transient that reached peak luminosities comparable to the Eddington- limit. This makes 2S 1803-245 one of the thermally brightest NSs in quiescence according to the cooling theory, and therefore one
