Description
The Milky Way satellites offer the possibility of studying their star formation histories in great detail. Color-magnitude diagrams (CMDs) reaching the old main-sequence turnoffs, allow a careful modelling of their stellar populations using synthetic CMDs, and spectroscopy of the brightest stars, provides a direct measurement of their metallicity. Here I present new wide field, old main sequence turnoff photometry of the LMC and Fornax, and briefly discuss preliminary results of a CaII triplet spectroscopy study of metallicities of individual stars in Fornax.

    TOI-837 b is a young Saturn-sized exoplanet with a massive 70 M<SUB>⊕</SUB> core
    We present an exhaustive photometric and spectroscopic analysis of TOI-837, a F9/G0 35 Myr young star, hosting a transiting exoplanet, TOI-837 b, with an orbital period of ~8.32 d.     Changing Look of the Optical Spectrum of the MeV Blazar PKS 0446+112 (4FGL J0449.1+1121)
    Following the high activity of the γ-ray Fermi source 4FGL J0449.1+1121 (PKS 0446+112), possibly associated with a IceCube neutrino event IC-240105A, we obtained optical spectroscopy with the Gran Telescopio Canarias of the counterpart.
