Description
We present low resolution optical spectra of isolated planetary candidate members of the young cluster σ Orionis. Using several key spectral features, as well as pseudocontinuum indices, we have derived spectral types for this sample and confirmed the nature and the membership of all of them but one. Additionally, the results suggest that one, and possibly other two, could be binary systems. Finally, most of the objects have Hα in emission.
