About Equipment:
LISA offers a wide variety of instrumentation and equipment to test and characterize cameras and sensors:
- Area 1: Visible range (CCDs, CMOS, EMCCDs) and SWIR range (InGaAs)
- Area 2: MWIR range
- Area 3: LWIR range
- Area 4: MKIDs
LISA has an extensive list of equipment to carry out measurements, make custom set-ups, and integrate adapted designs. Moreover, the Electronics Department providse some specific auxiliary facilities that complements the LISA lab. Finally, LISA supports cryogenic and vacuum systems in collaboration with the Mechanics Department.

- Light sources:
- Arc lamp (flux control stabilized) : Xenon and Hg from Newport
- QTH lamp (flux control stabilized) from Newport
- Black Body Cavity: high temperature from HGH: RCN-900 from HGH Infrarouges Systems
- Black Body Plate: cold (up to -40ºC) from HGH: DCN-1000 from HGH Infrarouges Systems
- Black Body for vacuum and cryogenics (up to +200ºC) from HGH.
- Newport monochromator /3 gratings CS260 plus filter wheels (VIS & SWIR test bench)

- General-purpose laminar flow cabinet with optical microscope.

- General Purpose Cryostat from Infrared Labs including a Leybold Closed Cycle Cooler. For visible and MCTs sensors.
- General Purpore Cryostat from Infrared Labs including a Cryotiger NF-50 cooling system. For CCDs.
- Large rectangular cryostat (0.5 x 0.6 x 1.2m) with two Coolpack/5000 and 6000 Leybold Helium compressors and Coolpower coldheads. For MCT sensors (MWIR range up to 5 microns). Optical table inside. Automatic PLC control vacuum/temperature (Schneider) + vacuum ScrollVac-15 pump.
- Superconducting cryostat (PTC + ADR) from HPD - Rainier 103, Form Factor. < 100mK. To test MKIDs sensors. Cryomech PTC/Compressor.
- General Purpose ARC Generation III detectors controllers (infrared and visible cards options) (OBSOLETE /upgrade to STA-ARCHON in course)
- VNA analyzer; general purpose microwave filters and attenuators.
- Temperature Control based on Lakeshore-332/336 units. Lakeshore Model 372 AC resistance bridges.
- Temperature Sensors (Pt-100 and Si-diode DT670) calibrated from Lakeshore
- Temperature Monitor (8-channel) based on Lakeshore-218 units. Others, as LS-224 units.
- Vacuum PKR sensors from Pfeiffer. Leybold too.
- Vacuum TPG readout units from Pfeiffer. Leybold too.
- Turbo Pump Hi-Cube from Pfeiffer (other ones available at IAC). Two, different power and purposes.
- Climatic Chamber (for bolometer testing and others). From Dycometal, model “walk-in” CCM-20/8000. Volume up to 8m3. Temperature range: -20ºC to 70ºC.
- Faraday's tent (2 x 2 x 2 meter) with passthrough panel (filters, pipes and electrical connectors)
- Optical accessories.
Control:
- Interfacing with standard camera protocols, with our own frame grabbers: gigaEthernet, CoaxPress, CameraLink, RS422, USB3. Others (FireWire,...) under request.
- Software support for GUI (NI-Labview) and data processing (Python, customized)
