An international team of scientists from the SDSS- III project, in which the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC ) participates, has developed a three-dimensional map of more than one million galaxies to understand the mysterious properties of dark energy and its effects on the accelerating expansion of the Universe.
