The first edition of the prize, promoted by the "Activia" brand, recognizes the abilities of professional women in fields such as "Innovation and Enterprise"

After participating in the Severo Ochoa Visitors Program which aims at increasing the collaboration between IAC personnel and prestigious researchers from other leading scientific institutions, this astrophysicist from the Astronomical Observatory of Rome and professor at the University "Roma Tre" has collaborated with researchers from the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) studying the dust generated by AGB stars.

This astrophysicist, from the Kiepenheuer Institute of Solar Physics in Germany, has worked within the Severo Ochoa Visitors Programme, an initiative of the IAC which aims at increasing the collaboration between IAC personnel and prestigious researchers from other leading scientific institutions

Spain will receive 10% of the observing time in return for providing the infrastructure and common services, above all the excellent digital connectivity of the Observatory with the rest of the world.

The writer, scriptwriter and journalist ended his visit yesterday, to the IAC, to the Canary Island Observatories, and to the Museum of Science and the Cosmos within the multidisciplinary project “En un lugar del Universo…”, describing his stay as “enriching from every point of view.
