Description
We present deep and accurate Near-Infrared (NIR) photometry of the
Galactic Globular Cluster omega Cen . Data were collected using the
Multi-Conjugate Adaptive Optics Demonstrator (MAD) mounted on the VLT
(ESO). We combined the NIR photometry with optical space data collected
with the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) for the same region of the
cluster. Our deep optical-NIR CMD indicates that the spread in age among
the different stellar populations in omega Cen is at most of the order
of 2 Gyr.
