Description
The authors have applied a new spectrophotometric stellar population synthesis model, designed to study early-type galaxies (Vazdekis, Casuso et al. 1995), to new high quality observational data of the nuclear regions of two standard elliptical galaxies (NGC 3379 and NGC 4472) and the bulge of the Sombrero galaxy (Vazdekis, Peletier et al. 1995b). They fit in detail around 20 absorption lines and 6 optical and near-infrared colors.
