Description
The measurement of frequencies, linewidths, and splittings of low degree
solar p-modes is a difficult task due, firstly, to time scales involved
and, secondly, to the spurious presence of side lobes when data is not
collected continuously. However, a long set of observations have been
obtained at Observatorio del Teide: a total of 52 months of data, spread
over 12 years (1977 to 1989), from which the best ones have been
selected. These data allows averaging of power spectra, therefore giving
statistical significant profiles for the p-modes, which can be fitted to
appropriate functions (i.e. Lorentzian). Such analysis is applied to the
data mentioned before and preliminary results of the aforementioned
parameters are obtained.
