Description
We present preliminary results of the kinematics of HII regions and diffuse gas in the irregular galaxies IC10 and NGC 4449. From Fabry-Perot Hα and [SII] observations, we have measured the radial velocities and velocity dispersions of the HII regions in these galaxies and compared them with a similar analysis done in the Small Magellanic Cloud. We study the interactions between massive stars and the interstellar medium in these galaxies via winds and supernovae. In order to do this, we have identified regions with enhanced [SII]/Hα emission, that are SNR candidates.
