Visible and near-infrared spectra (0.5-2.4 μm) of TNOs (50000) Quaoar and 2002 TX300 taken with the Italian 3,56m "Telescopio Nazionale Galileo" are presented and analyzed in the framework of the simple one-dimensional geometrical-optics formulation by Shkuratov et al. (1999, Icarus 137, 235). The detection of deep absorption bands in the near-infrared and the general behavior of the spectra allowed us to study the composition of the surface of these TNOs. The results are discussed in the framework of the different resurfacing models already proposed.
