Description
We have known for over three decades that the Sun has depleted its surface lithium. During this period it has become increasingly evident that mixing, unaccounted for by the standard models, occurs in the stellar interior. There is some conjecture that this mixing may be driven by rotation and thus be dependent upon the rotational history of the star. In this discussion session, we will examine the observational connection between mixing and rotation and critically evaluate current models.
