                            Description
We present preliminary results of a 3.6 cm VLA survey of 46 optical
counterparts to ROSAT All-Sky survey X-ray sources south of the
Taurus-Auriga star formation region, classified as genuine or possible
pre-main sequence stars on the basis of intermediate resolution
spectroscopy. Merging our sample with other radio observations of
sources in Taurus-Auriga, we find that: radio emission occurs
preferentially close to active cloud cores; there is no evident
relationship between radio emission and PMS status.
