Description
We report preliminary results of a long-term radial-velocity search for companions of nearby M-dwarf stars with the two CORAVEL spectrographs in both hemispheres. Although not complete yet this survey is already drastically improving the amount of data available for M-dwarf spectroscopic binaries by providing a first set of orbital elements for 31 binaries among which 23 were previously unknown. In this contribution, we will focus on the (e, log{P}) diagram, less sensitive to incompleteness effects, combining the CORAVEL results with data taken from the literature.
