  • joshspeagle/dynesty: v2.1.4
This is bug-fix release. The main user-visible changes is that npdim= option of dynesty is removed. Also because of the code change, you will not be able to resume previous dynesty runs from earlier (

  • IRAM 30-meter millimeter follow-up of deep OSIRIS-GTC optical surveys
It is broadly accepted that CO is a reliable tracer of H2 in massive IR (L IR ≳ 10 9 L ⊙) galaxies, and that there are clear correlations between L IR and L' CO that are qualitatively independent of environment and even redshift. We present two tales on the search for 12CO emission from dusty star-forming galaxies in both field (Lockman Hole, z < 0

  • INTERNAL KINEMATICS OF THE MILKY WAY SATELLITES

  • INSPIRE: INvestigating Stellar Population In RElics - VI. The low-mass end slope of the stellar initial mass function and chemical composition
The INSPIRE project has built the largest sample of ultra-compact massive galaxies (UCMGs) at 0.1 < z < 0.4 and obtained their star formation histories (SFHs). Due to their preserved very old stellar populations, relics are the perfect systems to constrain the earliest epochs of mass assembly in the Universe and the formation of massive early-type

  • Impacts of Bar-driven Shear and Shocks on Star Formation
Bars drive gas inflow. As the gas flows inward, shocks and shear occur along the bar dust lanes. Such shocks and shear can affect the star formation (SF) and change the gas properties. For four barred galaxies, we present Hα velocity gradient maps that highlight bar-driven shocks and shear using data from the PHANGS-MUSE and PHANGS-ALMA surveys

  • Impact of beam far side-lobe knowledge in the presence of foregrounds for LiteBIRD
We present a study of the impact of a beam far side-lobe lack of knowledge on the measurement of the Cosmic Microwave Background B-mode signal at large scale. Beam far side-lobes induce a mismatch in the transfer function of Galactic foregrounds between the dipole and higher multipoles which degrads the performances of component separation methods
