Abstract

Founded in March 2021, the Office of Astronomy for Education Center Italy (I-OAE) is an international office of the IAU, coordinated and funded by INAF. I-OAE promotes and supports innovative and inclusive learning practices as well as teacher training courses. In its early years, I-OAE has developed a series of collaborative processes involving representatives from about 20 Mediterranean countries. It also coordinates the international edition of astroEDU, the IAU’s peer-reviewed educational activity platform. I-OAE is open to volunteers from all countries who share its values and methods.
