Rubiño Martín

    José Alberto Rubiño-Martín is a Research Professor at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC). He obtained his degree in Physics from the University of Granada (1998) and his PhD in Astrophysics from the University of La Laguna (2002). His research field is Cosmology, with a particular focus on the study of the cosmic microwave background, the large-scale structure of the Universe, and the physics of its earliest moments. He is the scientific lead of the QUIJOTE experiment, principal investigator of the Tenerife Microwave Spectrometer (TMS), and was coordinator of one of the science groups of the ESA Planck mission. He has also coordinated the European H2020 RADIOFOREGROUNDS project and is involved in RadioforegroundsPlus.
